Remove an account category I created

How do I remove an account category that I created under Account Category setup?  There's a star next to it so I know it's not a system generated category, and the help tab tells me I can remove a category that I created. However when I highlight it and try to delete the system says I can't have a category with a blank name!  Thank you!

    Highlight it, right click and select Delete Row (or highlight it, click Edit on the toolbar and click Delete Row).
