Management Reporter 2012 error

Hi,

I am trying to install Management Reporter 2012 on a windows 2003 server. At some point you need to deploy using

MRDatabaseDeploy.exe /action:create /databasetype:ManagementReporter /servername:. /databasename:ManagementReporter /databasecollation:SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS /databasemasterkey:pass@word1 /servicedomainuser:%USERDOMAIN%\%USERNAME% /adminuser:%USERDOMAIN%\%USERNAME%

Here is my parameters

MRDatabaseDeploy.exe /action:create /databasetype:ManagementReporter /servername:parkgp4/SQLEXPRESS /databasename:ManagementReporter /databasecollation:SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS /databasemasterkey:mypassword /servicedomainuser:mydomain\adminaccount  /adminuser:mydomain\adminaccount

I get the following error and no idea why:

    Hello cgust,

    Thanks for posting this link. I had come across this link, this is what I am trying to do.

    However, I get the above error.

    I even compared my parameters for MRDatabaseDeploy.exe  with the one in the video link ....  and couldn't find the error.

    Any ideas?

    Hello Mariano,

    I am following the instuctions of Management Reporter 2012 for MS Dynamics ERP Installation and Configuration Guide.

    On page 12, the guide tells you to install the server components which I did (by clicking setup.exe) and that works fine.

    However, since I have installed Management Reporter 2012 on a server runing Windows 2003, we are not able to create the Management Reporter database using the Configuration Console.

    A workaround suggested in the guide is to use a second computer. I am using my windows 7 pro PC to run MRDatabaseDeploy.exe.

    That is when I get the above error that I had earlier posted. I hope this clears up any confusion.

    So we are clear, are you using the MR 2012 installer to install the application? If so, are you running the setup application as a local or domain administrator on the server where you are installing it?
