Inside the Quote form, you have a Lookup field to Opportunity where you can specify the opportunity to relate to (if the quote is not generated from the opportunity), otherwise, you can open the desired opportunity and create a new quote from there which will be automatically associated with the Quote.
Regarding the order, when you Activate the Quote > you have the option to Create Order > which closes the Quote and created new Order > Inside the order you will have already associated the Opportunity record.
