I receive the following error when I try to enter a new customer into the sales module. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
"This record has been created since you attempt to create it. Changes won't be saved"
We have tried disabling our third party applications and still receive the same error.
Please help!

Bill my suggestion is you need to record a macro file on Customer window and share it us. It will help me identify the issue and creating the resolution.
To Create a macro file.
1. Open Customer Maintenance Window.
2. Click Tools--> Marco-->Record and give the name for macro file.
3. Enter a new customer and click save.
4. After getting the error. Click tools-->stop record.
5. Share the saved file.

In your case, I would directly move into profiling this issue on SQL profiler in order to detect where the problem occurs specifically. I might isolate any issues related to security or user as well.
Therefore, you could simply run the SQL profiler trace on a specific user just before you click "save" button on the customer screen, several scripts will be caught on the profiler through which you have to go one by one until you reach one thing relevant to the problem.

I have been able to perform a check-link on the Customer Master files and recieved no errors related to the current matter.
Can anyone suggest how to check the Email Settings (master) for the system as this is the only thing that has been changed in the system.
The other matter of concern is that this only happens in ONE of THREE company databases.
This is a major concern as we can not even enter any customer records - not such a good situation for a sales company - they are going to go blasitic very quickly.
Hello everyone, I have been told by a client that we are getting the same error message on entering customers into the system.
We have no triggers - sp_helptriggers tpci <database name> returns nothing
We have a single third party applicaiton - Horizon Light Manufacturing - there are no APPARENT modified Windows related to the Customer Master
I have been able to duplicate this error on the server as both my personal user id as well as the SA - my user ID was modified to match the user that reported the error - I got the same message. Then thinking it was a security issue, I tried to create a customer as SA and encountered the same error.
I have looked at as Richard suggested into the DEX_SESSION - it contains the expected results - 1-7 Sessions and the corresponding SQL ID. The DEX_LOCK returns nothing at this time.
I am open to additional suggestions. I hope I have provided enough detail to work with.

In addition, I would try running the check links on customers. Keep third party products disabled while applying the suggested solutions.
If this doesn't get it solved out, further digging in your customer master data is required. This error usually occurs when other triggers are intervening in the customer master table, when creating a new one.
This is the similar case for Vendor Card; This record has been created
I would first try exiting GP and going back in and try again. If that does not help, you will need to go into SQL and run these scripts while no one is in GP.
