Hello Expert,
RC formula of excel sheet not working in Business Central Export to Excel Report.
NAV 2009 R2 Version:
We can easily use the any type of RC formula in SUM and IF condition and it is working properly
ExcelBuf.AddColumn('=SUM(R4C:R[-2]C)',FALSE,'',TRUE,TRUE,FALSE,'[Blue]#,##0;[Red](#,##0)');
ExcelBuf.AddColumn('=SUM(R4C:R[-2]C)',FALSE,'',TRUE,TRUE,FALSE,'[Blue]$#,##0.00;[Red]($#,##0.00)'); ExcelBuf.AddColumn('=IF(RC[-3]=0,0,IF((RC[-2]+RC[-1])=0,"forever",RC[-3]/(RC[-2]+RC[-1])))',FALSE,'',TRUE,TRUE,FALSE,'[Blue]#,##0.0');
Business Central On Prime (14)
ExcelBuf.AddColumn('=SUM(R4C:R[-2]C)',TRUE,'',TRUE,TRUE,FALSE,'[Blue]#,##0;[Red](#,##0)',ExcelBuf."Cell Type"::Number);
ExcelBuf.AddColumn('=SUM(R4C:R[-2]C)',TRUE,'',TRUE,TRUE,FALSE,'[Blue]$#,##0.00;[Red]($#,##0.00)',ExcelBuf."Cell Type"::Number);
While run report in busines central it give following error and remove the formula from cell.
I have enable R1C1 reference style sheet in my excel.
Any help? or suggestion how to use RC Formula in Business Central Export to excel?
We are migrating very big project from NAV 09 R2 to BC On-Prime, They are multiple report create with RC Formula in export to excel in old version.
Thanxs in advance
Excel buffer have been heavily refactored from old classic client to cope with windows client first and then web client. You could open a support request to Microsoft to evaluate the root cause of this issue.
