Unit of measure issue on POS

Hi All,

I have created unit of measure conversion for a product. The UOM are visible on POS but when trying to select a unit I'm getting an error message "The unit of measurement conversion cannot be found". The exact similar setup in demo environment is working fine.

Any ideas as to if I am missing something? POS error and log file image attached

    Hi Rutvik,

I did not see such issue earlier, so I will leave this question for community to respond. If I have any information, I will respond to you later.

Has the distribution schedule been run and applied?

Can you please share your item setup with us, showing which UOM you are using in there?

Hi. the product unit is in KG with unit class 'Mass' . I have created units 2 KG , 5 KG with unit class 'Quantity', Hence We are using Inter-class conversion as you can see in the image I have posted. I have run Full sync many times in last 10 days

We figured there may be an issue with the setup but I tried the same setup in demo environment a few times with different products and it works just fine

    Hi Rutvik,

We have registered 2 new Units of measure 2 KG, 5 KG

We registered new Product with 2 KG all units of measure

There are Inter class conversion factors between 2 KG - kg and 5 KG - kg

But to be able to use Unit of measure 5 KG in POS it is required also to register Intra class conversion between 2 KG and 5 KG

Then in POS you may use also 5 KG unit of measure

The same is for normal Sales order that there is 5 KG unit of measure available if there is defined Intra class conversion between 2 KG and 5 KG.

If this does not help, please create a service request so we could investigate deeper.

    Hi Ramune ,

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. If I define 2 KG as a unit of measure conversion in Intra then it wont let me define it in inter and vise versa.

in unit conversion the current setup is 1 2 KG= 2.00 KG as I have mentioned in screenshot. I have also raised a support ticket to Microsoft but its taking time
