Adding current time or print time to Sales Orders Confirmations

Hello there,

There is a way to add current date and time in Word documents, for example like in the footer every time we print the document you can have the time print as well. I added this field into the footer of our Custom Word layout for Sales Order Confirmations but it seems that when Business Central prints it it's about 13 hours off. It is updating on every print, the minutes change so I know it's working but the time zone is not PST. Any ideas here? I checked the settings to make sure my time was zone was accurate.

Would think you need to have variables in the report object to do this correctly with word layouts. For RDLC layouts there are global functions for calculating these things. You won’t need a modification with the latter option.
