Purch. unit of Measurement and Base Unit of Measurement Conversion
From the Item Record, go to "Item Units of Measure" (use the Menu/Action Ribbon) and setup the MM and KG relationship. On the Item Card set KG as the Purchase Unit of Measure. Then when purchasing you should see KG as the default Unit of Measure for the Item, but everywhere else will use the MM Base Unit of Measure.
