Business Central 365 Dynamycs.

How to set up /Purch. unit of Measurement and Base Unit of Measurement Conversion/ on Item card ?

Example as below

Item R00001 - MS FLAT 5MM THIK

BASE UNIT = MM

PURCH. UNIT= KG

CONVERSION IS 1 MM = 0.121 KG

Price is on Purch. unit of Measurement.

From the Item Record, go to "Item Units of Measure" (use the Menu/Action Ribbon) and setup the MM and KG relationship. On the Item Card set KG as the Purchase Unit of Measure. Then when purchasing you should see KG as the default Unit of Measure for the Item, but everywhere else will use the MM Base Unit of Measure.
