We have been developing with Dexterity for nearly 20 years now and are currently working with Dex version 14.
We have now employed some extra development resources so I am trying to set up source control.
We are running TFS 2013 for source control.
Now, in the past, we have used VSS as the source control when we used Dexterity 7.5 and it all worked well.
I need some help getting all of this working.
I have discovered that TFS 2013 causes issues and doesn’t see the actual server but stating we are using TFS 2012 works OK.
I have followed all of the setup documents I can find and checked in the dictionary to the source control and that worked correctly. I have also confirmed that the entire dictionary is checked in and that the SCC state has been set and that the index file has been created.
However, when I try to check out any script or form to edit it, I get the following error:
Operation was not completed successfully.
I have googled this and followed all instructions but I still can’t get this to work.
I have also found that DSCCS for Dex 14 doesn’t work and I had to use DSCCS version 12.
I would appreciate any help I can get. I have staff sitting around unable to do any Dexterity work as I cannot provide them with a platform that is working correctly.
