Hello,

I have a question to ask you and I hope you will help me.

In the fixed assets module, is there a possibility to calculate the depreciation without posting it and have an accounting entry?

Is there a specific setting to do this? without the customization.

    You can run depreciation proposal and this will create depreciation entry however won't be posted.

    Apart from this you ca create Dep transactions with posting in GL

    I've used Ramit's suggestion many times with clients who want to forecast depreciation on all assets.  Run the proposal to some date into the future, export the results to Excel, then delete the journal.
