User Interface Activity Tracking

Hi All

I need to be able to see an audit of what users are doing within the D365 platform.  For example

At 2:31pm on the 1st July 2025 user A.Smith viewed the ContactRecord for J.Bloggs
At 2:43pm on the 1st July 2025 user A.Smith click on the Export Data Button

We have a solution that adds a JavaScript action to these events and writes it to a DV table , but I wanted to see if there is a better/standard solution to this

Kind regards

Owen

    User Interface Activity Tracking
    Hi,

    I'm afraid so.
The audit function of OOB cannot retrieve the user's operations on the UI interface.
It needs to be customized or seek a third-party solution.

For example, the following link shows how to track the number of times a user opens a record using a plugin.

    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li
