Changing the default font used when creating an email

Hi

Is it possible to set the font and size for the font used when creating an email in Dynamics?

I want to send an email to a contact, the email pane appears, but the font in Sergui size 9. We use Calibri size 11. Rather than changing it every single time, it seems to be more efficient to change the default font used.

Is that possible?

    Hi,

In the previous versions Email Editor was inheriting font form the browser.

However, not it does not inherit the fonts from browser, it defaults to Segoe UI.

Unfortunately, this cannot be changed as of now.

    Here is similar thread:

    Best,

Would be great if they could. So many features could be added.

And that's before you get to adding field data for mailshots.

I find this baffling. MS changed us all to Calibri years ago as a default font on word etc. Segui 9 doesn’t meet accessibility standards. The template editing functionality is also antique.

A bit late but maybe it will help someone:

This is now possible by adding a WebResource that holds custom properties for the Rich Text Control (RTE). Took me some tries to get it right but it's now working for us. How you do it is described here:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-service/customer-service-hub-user-guide-email-font-admin

The properties that can be set in your customized resource can be found here. Be sure to read it because I found there are different fields for the 'display name' of the font in the control menu and the 'actual font' it's using.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/rich-text-editor-control#rich-text-editor-properties

As for the relative path you need to supply in the custom control for your webresource, it should be /WebResouce/<your webresource name>

    Hope this helps!

Yes, it is possible for a User to specifically set a default. Therefore, you need to click on the three dots within an email:

Afterwards, go the the "User Personalization" which opened:

There, another pop-up window opens where a User can set the desired default font and font size:
