Tenerife Sandbox cannot connect to existing 365 tenant for user testing

I am getting the following error when adding users from 365

The operation could not complete because a record in the User table was locked by another user. Please retry the activity.

    Hi lukecelente

    Can you PM your tenant url so we try to look at telemetry information to see what happened on sandbox tenant?

    I've tried executing the same action and it worked for me.

    Can you also try again?

    New update rollout has started yesterday so it might happen that you did that at the time tenant was being upgraded.
