I am having an issue with a 250 worksheet.  We are running RMS 2.0 sp2.  If we run a 250 worksheet with a few hundred items the worksheet finishes with no problems.  If we run a 250 worksheet with 10,000 items on a remote store the worksheet tries to run, but never finishes and never has any errors. A local store running on the same computer as the HQ completes the 250 worksheet with no problems no matter how many items are in it. We are running SQL server 2005 express.  The HQ is about 2GB in size and the two store databases are close to 1GB.  The HQ database has about 125,000 items.  The computer the HQ and one store is running on is a one year old Dell with 2GB of memory.  I ordered another 4GB of memory today for the server.  I bumped up the timout setting to 120 seconds in the HQ Client.  Does anyone else have any ideas why we are having this problem?

To solve this problem, please divide updating items by departments / category and send through many 250 worksheets. I mean, in 250 WS, you have option to filter items. So add 100-200 items in a single WS and make communication with store. Hope this will make sense.

Slow internet may be the problem.  They have a fairly slow DSL connection.  Perhaps they can upgrade.

It's probably the network connection speed giving the delay and causing the timeout.  You will need to run multiple smaller worksheets, or figure out if there is a smaller set of items that need to be updated and just run those.  Last recourse would be to export a new database from HQ and copy that to the store to replace their current data.
