Customized standard ribbon button in MS CRM 2011 is inactive in lower business units.

I have a Business unit A, which has a user "a" ; Under A I have X,Y, Z business units and respectively x1,y1,z1 users.

 I have customised a standard button "export to Excel",  after publishing it I have this button active for Business unit but inactive for x1,x2, and z1 users.

I left the security roles same for both scenario. I don't understand why my button is inactive for lower business units users.

    Hello,

    Since this is a customized entity (button), the security role that has been assigned to the users x1, y1, z1 also has to be taken care off.

    Please check which level of permission has been assigned to this user under his security role.

    Navigate to tab - Custom Entities > under that particular custom entity, what are the level of permissions for each action.
