I am attempting to demonstrate a standard out of the box production order process while leveraging Advanced Warehouse and Manufacturing Execution (Time posting to the route). I have set up a simple BOM with only two items to consume using available at location flushing principle, and a simple route with one Human Resource Operation . I am creating a Production Order for 1 qty and everything works well: Production Order Created, Production Order Estimated, PO Job Scheduled, PO Released, PO Started via the emulator, RM Picking work is created, Production Pick/Put via the emulator (Pick List Posts), ME Job Device Start PO for qty of 1, Job Device mark quantity of 1 complete, Route Card auto posts, RAF and Put away on the emulator for 1 qty (End marked yes) get the following error:
Error: Production - Report as finished Production: XXXX Posting - Report as finished journal Journal: X Line number: X Item number A has not been completely released. Item number B has not been completely released. Update has been canceled.
After posting picking list and the route it appears that the BOM has not been entirely consumes as if I create a new pick list and select remaining quantity, it proposes to consume another BOM. There is also still one proposed when viewing the BOM on the Production Order.
I have determined two ways around this, 1.End marking the pick list (manually or changing the parameters under Start) 2. The End setting via the emulator selected NO on the RAF Putaway, Manually posting an end marked RAF journal after RAF is posted (Endmark picking is ON under RAF Parameters)
What am I missing to get the RAF and Put away via the emulator as this article says to avoid End Marking the Pick List parameter at Start like the plague?
