Dear forum members,

I was wondering if BC is able to handle a Warehouse Put-away without posting a Warehouse receipt?

Meaning upon receiving the purchased items, can one do a direct put-away into say a raw material bin instead of having to do a warehouse receipt into the receiving bin?

ZJ,

If you are utilizing the Advanced Warehouse functionality, a Purchase Order Receipt requires a Warehouse Receipt to Receive into the Receiving Zone and Bin(s). You then are directed with the Put-Away into an available Bin or Fixed Bin or the User can select a Bin, in a Put-Away or PutPick Zone. You cannot go from a Warehouse Receipt to Put-Away or PutPick Zone in since the Receiving Zone is not a only a Bin Type = Receive.
