What's the best way to test date based events in CRM

I'd like to test CRM event based activities (such as workflows and support contracts) without setting shortened dates in the relevant workflows.

Is there a tool or method to simulate this in a DEV/UAT environment please?

    Not that I know off...I normally just test by shortening the dates on the workflows.

    If you just want to test what the workflow will do and not just if it works, you can always test the workflow manually (On Demand) and then set the date triggers.

    Thanks for your answer, how do you test Service Contracts, they're a bit trickier.

    I guess you can always create test contracts expiring soon to do some testing.

    OK, that's still take (at least) a day for a contract to expire.
