Hi Expert,
Our system is a Online D365 CE. I want to bulk import Contact records (which stored in an Excel table) into CRM. All the Contacts are exiting in CRM originally.
Once the specific Contact imported into CRM, in the Contact timeLine, a text Note will be created.
I selected SSIS + KingswaySoft approach. But the key point is how to trigger the Note directly when import the data.
Can you contribute your expert guidance? Thanks in advance.

For the performance concern, I will not select the workflow approach.
Can you tell me the detail process about create Note after create Contact? Does it need to some script to work on the process?

Hi,
You can create the note as the next step after creating Contact in SSIS or you can simply setup a workflow to create Note for contact which will trigger on the contact create.
Let me know if my understanding is not correct.
