Hi Guys,
I am running out of storage for my Dynamics 365 (CRM) online.
Is there any way I could check where storage is being used ? i.e which entities.
Also, what unnecessary data can I delete to free up space?

Yes, your Organization Insights dashboard will show you what's taking up space. Most likely, it's going to be attachments, especially if you have email sync. There are a number of solutions on AppSource that can automatically strip those files and stick them in SharePoint, or Azure Storage. There's a good chance that this alone will free up large amount of storage, and put your files in a much cheaper storage system.
