Thanks for using the newsgroups. Does this happen from every computer? From the web server?
I'd look at your IE settings. I can't guarantee it will fix your issue, but it may be a good place to start. Make sure the BP site is a trusted site and that the following settings are checked.
• Download signed ActiveX controls
• Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting
• Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
