Duplicate credit card references when using the Adyen payment connector

Every time that I use the TEST card ending in 0007 on the website for TEST customer John Smith, a new record is being created in CreditCardCust table for the same card token value for our TEST credit card. For example, I have create 10 orders on our website and used the same card 10 times, but I have 10 references to the same card in the ERP now which makes the payment processing screen confusing to use. Is this expected behavior?

We are expecting 1 reference to a card reference token regardless of how many times that card is used.

These all reference the same card token reference and all information is TEST information. Customer and Card are for testing only.

Hi Peter, it's something done inside D365 HQ, as our customer does not use the Adyen connector; we developed a Braintree connector for them.

Paul, thanks for the quick follow up. Was the enhancement something that was done within D365 or did Adyen implement something to help handle this issue?

Yes, I believe this is 'by design' and we have just had to do an enhancement for our Customer to negate this.
