i have a number of items that i have to put into inventory and was wondering if i could do an upload from excel into my database? can this be done???

Hi,
I presume that you have Microsoft Dynamic RMS Ver. 2, if so you should find Worksheets under The Headquarter Manager’s menu, but if you didn’t find it that is means you are working in Store Operation Manager NOT HQ Manager and my explanation was concerned the headquarter manager not else.
Check that and if you still need help I will be glad to give you some instructions.

If you just wanna set the inventory on hand (starting Balance) from excel sheet (if this is what you asking), just run worksheet Style: 307 Adjust item Quantities then in the Contents right click then select import then popup window will open to allow you to select the desired file but if you notice you have 3 type of file that you have to choose Tab Delimited (I use this type anyway) to make that file from the original excel select save as then select tab delimited type
Brows the specific file then ok and done.
But.
My suggestion to you is to run worksheet style: 302 change item cost first, before setting the quantities.
