We have received the Programming Bulletproof Error 10121 in various Currency Manager and Financial Statement Translation screens when entering dates such as effective dates.
In GL Setup - Fiscal Info the Fiscal Year is set to 2019 Beg. Calendar Year
The ending date for Period 6 is 2/28. I interpolate this to be February 2020 so it should be 2/29 since it was a leap year.
Based on review of other 10121 errors it looks like updating to 2/29 should resolve the issue. I am unable to update Period 6 in the screen. It gives me a System Message 48 - Invalid date, please reenter in this form MM/DD
In Currency Manager - Currency Rate Maintenance By Date - you can enter various dates and populate the screen but then all the sudden it gives you the 10121 error.
Currently on SL7 and does not happen. Testing for SL 2018 upgrade and is constant.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks for the response Jana. We are using the Currency Rate Maintenance By Date screen.
I had changed the machines Regional settings via Control Panel - Clock,Language, and Region and changed the Short date to MM/dd/yyyy previously and that did not resolve the issue.
Now I went to Settings - Time & language - Formats and changed the Short date there to MM/dd/yyyy - as it was set to M/d/yyy.
I was then able to copy and paste 4 rows into Currency Rate Maintenance By Date without issue.
So there must be multiple placess to set the short date format.
Waiting to hear back if it worked for the user.
Thanks,
Laura
Dear Laura,
What screen are you in when you copy in currency rates? I'm assuming the module is currency manager.

Dear Laura,
You should update the period/date in sql. Older versions of SL did not advance the date when we hit a leap year.
It may not do this in the current version either.
Do you have something in the servers regional settings that might present or want to present the date like that?
Do you have any other language setting on the regional settings?
Thank you,
Jana MacDonald

When we try to copy more than 2 lines from an Excel sheet that hold the currency rates, we get a Programming Bulletproof Error 10121.
If I copy in 2 lines it saves without issue, If i copy in 3 lines it errors out. Data is formatted the same so does not appear to be a data issue.
Anyone else have this issue?
