Is SmartList "Go tos" working with Collection Management ?

Hello everyone,

To make it easier for the people assigned to the recovery, I try to add a "Go To" to the SmartList Collection - Open Notes and associated documents that brought the user into the associated collection note. I am unfortunately unable to reach any conclusive results so far.

We currently use Collection Management with GP2013 R2.

I tried to use the Built-in "Go To" (which gives me an error message concerning the client number) and I also try my luck in the Open Form "Go To" which appears unable to register the client number since this box seem to be locked when the note window opens.

Does anyone know of a way to open the "Collection Management Notes" window from the SL mentioned above. Is this goal realistic ?

    Hi Olivier,

    I have ad problems with the SmartLists that come 'out of the box' with collecions management. I submitted a support case with them but it was never answered. In the mean time I created a brand new one that did what I wanted and didn't pursue the resolution of the errors born from the built-in lists.

    Hi Leslie,

    I tried many times to get the "GoTo" to open a particular CM note working but it never happened. The best I achieved was to open CM Main Window on the wanted customer. Even if it's not as perfect as I'd like, it's working so far.

    Olivier,

    I don't have Collections Management on this machine, but I also had problems with the 'built-in' updated SmartLists. I redid the smartlists using SmartList Builder and just turned the other ones off.
