Hi All,

I am getting the below error while posting the invoice of PO receipt quantity:

Processing item failed: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. Details: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 
at Microsoft.Dynamics365.Tax.Core.TaxEngineTaxJournalObject.journalLines() 
at Microsoft.Dynamics365.Tax.Core.Runtime.TaxJournalAccountingProcessor.process() 
at Microsoft.Dynamics365.Tax.Core.Runtime.TaxDocumentAccountingProcessor.processTaxDocumentAccounting() 
at Microsoft.Dynamics365.Tax.Core.TaxEngine.calculate(ITaxableDocument _taxableDocument, TaxEngineCalculationParameter _processorParameter)

Note : Few days back we installed the gst patch..could it be something related to that?

Please help!!! It's urgent.

    Are you operating AX2012 or D365FO?

    Have you made a system modification that might be responsible for this error message?

    For which country / region do you run this function?

    Hi Ludwig,

    I am using Ax 2012 R3 and this for india localisation on INMF legal entity on standard environment without any customizations.

    Click the Edit button in the infolog window and you see where the error comes from. You can then debug the process to understand it better. And/or share the failing code with us - including information of what exact codeline is resulting in the error.

    Did we merge the code once apply GST patch then run full compile/DB Sync/full CIL? If not please run these process first.
