You can see base code exactlly like in the previous versions of NAV: just open C/SIDE, Object Designer, select your object, click Design and the C/AL code is here.

    From Where to open C/Side

    As In Previous version

Finsql Open The Dev Environment to see C/Side Code but Here I am not finding finsql.exe

    Hi ,

as Stefano suggested its same as previous , same things you need to follow , if you cannot access means may issue in your license ,

Check the license information in Dev Environment

Have you installed the Development tools? In the RoleTailored Client folder you should have finsql.exe.

You may be right , yes Lic is important , Let me arrange the same

Yes Development tool and RTC Client both installed but missing finsql.exe

It may be Lic Issue , But in Previous version Access permission issue used to come if incorrect Lic  but finsql.exe always gets installed on RTC folder

FINSQL.exe is ALWAYS installed, this is not a license issue.

If you don't have it, it's a setup problem. I suggest to relaunch your setup and install the client tools:

Stefano , I used the below link for installation  and it is not having  "Development Environment (C/SIDE)"

    community.dynamics.com/.../now-download-available-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2018

Installation setup that I am having is not fine

    Pls Confirm

It may be reason that I have not picked it from Partner Source so  "Development Environment (C/SIDE)"    is missing in setup but "Modern Development Environment " is existing

    Pls any one confirm .

    This is the DVD content:

    DVDNAV2018.jpg

Check your media or download it from Partnersource. FINSQL must be installed together with RoleTailored Client if you install with the option I've give you in the previous link. It's absolutely exactly like any other NAV version.
