How to make all fields on form editable?

Hello,

How is it possible to set the fields back as editable when the Sales Order is already invoiced?

Let say we have a button on the salestable form. When the order is invoiced, fields are in view mode. By clicking the new button, we would like to see the fields active and editable as they were before invoicing.

I have tried "formRun.task(#taskEditRecord);" in the onClicked event, which sets some fields back as editable, but not all the fields that were ediatble before invoicing.

    Hi Johny,

    Which fields are you looking edit in sales orders after they have been invoiced?

    You might be able to edit some of the fields based on a setting in AR parameters. Go to Accounts receivable > Setup > Account receivable parameters. Go to Updates tab and check the highlighted field in the screenshot below. If it is set to "Locked", the fields will not be editable. If you change this value to "Warning", you will be able to edit the fields and will get a message box confirming that you want to edit the fields.

    any field that is editable before order is invoiced

    Hi Johnny,

    You can change the setting mentioned above to either "None" or "Warning" and make the fields editable. As far as I checked, all the fields editable in an open order are editable in Invoiced orders as well.

    You won't need any customization for getting this done.

    It is set to None, but after invoicing fields are grayed out and not editable

    I have the field set to None, and I am able to edit fields on an Invoiced order.

    Do you have any other customizations on this form that controls edit properties?
