When you run IM the next time as Administrator enter your registration keys again. You need the proper rights to be able to update and save the keys. There is a hidden file that must be updated. You need admin rights to update that file.

is it possible for me to update this file manually ? how can I fix this issue ?

You need admin rights in order to put this file in the correct location. When you go to install IM right click and select run as administrator. Hopefully you will not get prompted for the credentials. Once that file is in place you will not be asked again.

    Hi Patrick,

    It's C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics GP\14.0.0.0

The 14.0.0.0 corresponds to the current version of GP you are on.

    The file name is IMCommon_Data.xml

so i simply paste the license key in it ?

    thank you

I can't say I've ever updated it that way but that's the file that gets updated when you enter the keys directly in IM.  I'd assume as long as you stick to the xml formatting you should be good.
