Email router not adding signed emails into CRM

Hi THere,

We have an issue where the email router is reading all emails OK, but signed certificate emails are being ignored by the email router and not being placed in to CRM.

Do you know why this might be?  This used to work in Exchange 2003, but now not in exchange 2010.

We are on premise CRM2011 and have just migrated from Exchange 2003 to 2010.

Many thanks for your ideas' comments etc.

Kind regards

Stuart

Thanks Mscrmba, but no - we are not even getting the error message.

We are searching around quite a bit at the moment but still can't find anything about this.

Best advice at the moment is that a rollup to CRM2011 release 16+ should help - will test out next week

So Microsoft say that although the exchange 2003 server passed it in a way that mean the email router could read it, they Don't support reading signed emails in the email router. They had us try a patch upgrade to RU18 as they thought that may help initially - it did not.      Now they say they its a feature request if we want it - we do as do many others.

The feature request is here if you would support it - https://connect.microsoft.com/dynamicssuggestions/feedbackdetail/view/1220442/crm-email-router-reading-digitally-signed-emails-class-type-ipm-note-secure-sign

    Many thanks

Happy to, still have some clients on 2011.

Are you thinking of upgrading to CRM 2013 (or does it affect CRM 2013 also)?

    Hi,

we had this on our side as well and also had a support case with Microsoft and they said we should manipulate the mail on exchange side and remove the signature ...

But we never figured out how to do that.

But we have switched now from the Exchange Web Service to POP3 and SMTP and now also signed mails are being loaded to our CRM 2011 on premise.

    Hi veera.sekhar

Yes we did get a fix to this in the end, but it was the last roll up from MS for CRM2011 - 19 i think.

After this all was OK . Though it took a while for MS to find this for us.

    Kind regards

    Stuart
