Accidentally clicked "Calculate" when trying to open period

Please help!  When I was trying to close a prior period and open the next month, I accidentally clicked the "Calculate" button instead of OK.  Now when I try to run my financial reports out of Management Reporter, nothing posted prior to my "bad click" is pulling onto the financial statement.  Has this ever happened to anyone before?

Thanks for any help you can send!

If you didn't actually change the periods, you probably just need to run the Reconcile utility under Microsoft Dynamics GP >> Tools >> Utilities >> Financial >> Reconcile.  Mark all three checkboxes, and then start with the oldest year and work your way through to the current year.  It's a bit tedious, but that is the recommended process.

You may need to run Reconcile in your Financial Utilities.  Are you sure you didn't create any rogue periods?

We just did this ourselves.  What was the solution that worked for you?  Thanks!

Unfortunately I had to go with the quick solution, which was to call our software consultant.  I wish there was a quick fix I could do in case I do it again, but she said she had to rebuild the data warehouse.  Sorry!  If you find an quick solution, please share!

Thank you for responding.  I did try the long approach of reconciling all historical years and open years and that was not successful.  We will rebuild the data warehouse next.

Did you get rid of the rogue year?  You can delete MR DM and rebuild it once everything is correct within GP.   If you haven't corrected  it in GP then MR will continue to report bad data..   If you have posted transactions in the "bad" year then you will need to correct them in SQL

Hi, Did you try PSTL - Fiscal Period Modifier? This may help you to bring back data on track.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks Much
