Historical Inventory Trial Balance & Reconcile to GL

We have had GP since 2016 and have used the HITB and Reconcile to GL feature monthly since that time without incident. We installed the annual update for GP 2016 R2 in December and suddenly find that we have neither the HITB report nor the inventory Reconcile to GL feature. Our inventory module reconciled every month through 11/2018 and I have no reason to believe 12/2018 is out of balance. We ran the HITB Reset patch, but found out that we cannot reconcile past the date we installed the patch. Any ideas as to why we lost the HITB when we ran the annual update and is there a way to install the HITB Reset patch so that we can reconcile inventory for 12/2018?
