Hi All,
Why SEQNUMBR is zero in table GL20000 for some of the records?
Ideally it shoud be multiple of 16384 value. If the GL transaction line contains three records then value should be stored as 16384, 32768 and 49152.
I just want to know why this filed stores zero value for some of the records.
All these records are originating not only from GL they are also from sub module.
Appreciate if someone share the knowledge.

As a side note, I believe, in general the SEQNUMBR in the GL uses increments of 500, not 16384, as the line item sequences in other modules.
Transactions generated during year-end process have SEQNUMBR zero. Also, lot of transactions in Fabrikam have zero SEQNUMBR.
