Hi zoe,
I suggest selecting the current user in your SMTP settings and trying with your Outlook email and password also use the same email address in your username and email address fields
try with any outlook email address first and tell me if you face any error..

You should probably contact your IT people and have them check that you use the correct SMTP setup and authentication.
Or if you have any customization around this in your system you should contact your developer so they can debug this together with you.

I set up the SMTP and send a test email and error message is not same.
Error message is
''The email was not sent because of the following error: "The SMTP server rejected the authentication request, as the authentication data is incorrect. Verify that your Username and Password are correct and that the SMTP server supports the specified authentication type (Basic). SMTP error code: 535."
Depending on the error, you might need to contact your administrator.

If you think it's not the code error and you're receiving the same error for standard email functions, then please double-check your email setup settings. Here are the basic SMTP setting steps:
After setting up the SMTP, make sure to set it as default and send a test email to see if you still encounter the same error.

and email outbox error message is
"Failed to send email. Error: The property 'subject' does not exist on type 'Microsoft.OutlookServices.Message'. Make sure to only use property names that are defined by the type or mark the type as open type. REST APIs for this mailbox are currently in preview. If you are sending emails through code, it would be helpful if you could share your code as well with the error message. Additionally, please check the email outbox to see if there are any errors there as well.

Hi, have you tried the standard function of sending emails? Can it be sent normally?
For example,
Details can be found in the Email Outbox if there are errors.
If there's a problem with standard functionality, it's a mailbox setup problem.
If there is no problem with standard functions, please check your code part.
