Some Standard Stored Procedures had been drop in specific databases

Posted on by 65

We have GP Version 8 and it started having Dexterity Runtime Errors. One of the errors point to a missing stored produres e.g. zdpORM2010* using the SQL Logging. What are the main causes/reasons why standard RM Stored Procedures has been deleted/dropped from the database.s. In our instance we have 8 databases and 3 of it had missing stored procedures and encountering crashes.

    Hard one to diagnose.

Could it have been that they were not created in the first place? How long have you been using these databases? Did you always use the RM module within these companies? or are you using RM for the first time and are just noticing the errors now.

Did you move the databases at any stage? If so, how were they moved?

    Did you upgrade lately?

Did you perform any disaser recovery / SQL Maintenance / Install any new products in GP for these 3 companies lately?

Who has access to the SQL server?

    Ian.
