Can't finally to post or delete the order

Hello,

One of Production Orders I can't post. I get message "Attempted to divide by zero". What I need is posted, I need just to close the order, but I can't.

In released Production Orders I tried to delete, but I can't as well. Says "Ledger Entry associated with it".

How I could delete or finally post and close this production order?

Thanks for help!

    Hi Mike ,

You have to please check if there is customization done before regarding posting routine of Prod. order. If yes, you need to take help of your License partner or Development partner to debug the issue, also You can't delete the prod. order until we have Ledger entry associated with it.

    Thanks.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Problem is, that at this moment we don't have any support from any NAV specialists (after some managers left company).

This problem will be sorted, but for now all of us looking for solutions, how to solve problems by ourselves.

How I could run NAV debug by myself? Where I can find it?

    Thanks.

    Mike,

Not sure if you are on Consumption, Output, or Production Journal document trying to Post. In any case, this one could come from anywhere so you need to trace if a UOM is causing the DIVIDE by ZERO. Here are some steps and a link:

Go to development Environment, Tools -> Debugger -> Debug Session

From the list of Sessions, select your session and click on Debug.

    A new window will appear.

Now again perform the same action, as of you are getting the error. By this, you will come to a point where you have encountered the error.

You can always contact your Partner to do this.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Hi, I agree with Nitin, it looks like the program is trying to divide by 0, which is causing the error. Although it is not ruled out as a standard bug, the possibility of customization is very large. So Debug is recommended.

    Hope this also helps.

    Thanks.
