Disable Editable Subgrid editing properties

Hello

I have a requirement to disable the editable subgrid editing properties. I used Editable subgrid for "On Select Event" for Javascript but wants to disable all the editing properties of subgrid. Please suggest something for the same.

    To disable the editable subgrid goto->the respective form select the subgrid(for which u have disable the editable properties) and click change properties.Then select control tab ,where u can see editable subgrid u can able to see a close button at the end.select to remove the properties and click ok.

    This makes my subgrid read only and I am not able to use On Select event. Please read my question one more then you will get what I am asking.

    There is onrowselect event with which we can disable editable fields. Please refer the below blog.

    I would suggest to remove editable subgrid from the form and place a standard subgrid there.

    Please use getSelectedRows event of standard subgrid to get the records.

    You are not getting me. If i use standard sub grid then how i call my java script on select event.
