The report couldn’t be generated, because it was empty. Adjust your filters and try again

Posted on by 39

Hello,

I'm having the following error when trying to post/send the warehouse shipment.

This used to work fine without having any trouble. However, starting from today (02/05/2022), it gives me this error.

It will be highly appreciated if someone can assist with this.

Thank you,

Ashan

    Ashan,

I too was facing a similar issue when parsing a selection filter to the report's run modal on the latest AL version. In my case, running the request page with the range encapsulated in single quotes (') was causing this error.

Removing these quotes on the report's OnOpenPage() trigger and then assigning the result text to the record SETFILTER worked for me.

    Regards,

    Daniel

    Hi,

I have the same error message, but mine is when posting Purchase Invoice or Sales Invoice.

In my case, the report WHT Certification (report 28040 - WHT Certificate - Other) is causing the problem.

So our solution is, we delete the WHT Cert Usage in Report Selection, because we don't need to print the WHT Certificate. We use custom report to delete the data.

Maybe you can ask your partner to copy the production environments to sandbox (if possible), and do some debugging to find the cause of the error.

    Thanks

Is there an update to install or will it be corrected automatically?

Microsoft Fixed it, now works correctly.

    I do not touch anything

    I have the same problem.

But i created a Sandbox for production, in Sandbox it's ok to print, in production no.

I don't change any data in Sandbox.

    Hello,

I looked up the reported bug in our system and it is with Andy Sather who is also active on the forum.

    Thank you.
