Hi everyone,
Is it possible to link assets to a resource so when it goes through maintanence it won't make plans on it? Example: Im doing periodic once a month maintenance on a cutter. Can FaO take it into the planning?

    Hi, 
    capacity reservations from the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) module are supported in specific cases:
    • Scheduled hour forecasts from the maintenance forecast project (defined in EAM parameters) will reserve capacity on the linked production resource.
    • Dispatched/scheduled work orders will also create capacity reservations.
    • These reservations are visible under Production control > Resources > Capacity reservations.
    • Forecast-based reservations appear on the Gantt chart as “Maintenance.”
    • Worker-based reservations (for maintenance workers) can be viewed under Asset management > Gantt chart (Scheduled work orders).
    This allows EAM activities to block time on production resources, ensuring that production scheduling respects maintenance plans.
