workflow is running twice how stop this process

Hi All ,

i have a work flow  which is on demand it need to be run only one times  a day.

using this workflow we create a record.

how to stop this process programmatically. i  need to check if system job is already there for this workflow id then  stop this process.

how to stop this process.
