Hello Everyone,

I am trying to adjust this workflow template to email out every Monday morning a list of tasks that are due for the week. I think I need to edit something with the date format in the filter query but I can't get it right. It currently sends an email showing tasks that are due for today only.

Do I need to modify the "formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd')" formula in first line the filter query?

Also do I need to edit the second line in the filter query of "formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),1),'yyyy-MM-dd')"?

I changed formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),1),'yyyy-MM-dd') to formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),7),'yyyy-MM-dd') and this seemed to work.

I am trying to add the "Owner" name of the activity to the report when it emails out. I added Owner but it is displaying a unique ID rather than the owner name. What field should I use?

I need the field displayed the represent "owninguser" not "ownerid" but I cannot edit the code in the Microsoft flow app to pull the right field. It only gives me a read-only format.

It appears that "owninguser" cannot be modified to be searchable.

This seems like something I cannot change.

Does anyone have an idea how I can get "owninguser" to show up as a field in this emailed report that is a workflow?

HI,

I think you will need to add one more action which is get record and pass ownerid and then use full name from dynamic content from this action in create html action.

Hi Josh,

We will use "Get a record" step to get users name value, and use the columns in the html table as elements of the array.

Plese see my flow.

The email is like this.

You need to add all required columns fields in the "Append to array variable" step.

Hi Lu Hao,

I am having trouble understanding where to add these steps. Here is a zoomed-out version of the flow I'm using. I cant start using "when a record is selected". I'm already pulling the activities. I just want to add a column to this table that is generated that includes the full name of the owner.

Hi,

You should remove last comma from Append to Array variable action to fix this issue.
