If we use supplemental hierarchy instead of the main product hierarchy will this cause issues with POS.

The issue is that we have a fertiliser manufacturer company and we want to list these products for sale through POS. Do we need the fertiliser's listed in the main retail hierarchy to be able to sell them or can we sell them from the supplemental hierarchy?.

    from any hierarchy you can sell items in POS. hierarchy is only for organizing items classifications and grouping.
