GDPR - Right to be forgotten - Question

Posted on by
Hi

Does anyone know if there is a default functionality in Business Central to erase GDPR sensitive informative for a customer in all related sections for the application?

For example:

- Customer X want that the personal information is removed from the Company's operational systems so they file a request to be forgotten.
therefore the customer needs to be anonymized / removed from Business Central as well.
On the customer card, this can be done manually, but to get it removed from all related documents this might be more complicated.

Thanks a lot for the assistance/ feedback
Kind regards

Hi, You can try the Data Classification Worksheet feature.
    Note:
Microsoft is providing this Data Classification feature as a matter of convenience only. It's your responsibility to classify the data appropriately and comply with any laws and regulations that are applicable to you. Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
