Missing inventory transactions

While trying to receive a delivery reminder i get the following error

" Cannot receive quantity 24.00 because inventory transactions with status Ordered, Arrived or Registered are insufficient "

the P.O created with quantity 95 .. i couldn't receive the entire quantity because there was only 71 item registered and after receiving them i couldn't receive the remaining 24 ..

inventory transactions looks like this

71 item with status received

line quantity

there should be some transaction with status ordered or registered

i tried to change delivery reminder value to get the transactions but it didn't work .

also i ran a consistency check on inventory management but nothing happened .

this issue happened on a different P.O as well .

what could possibly cause this ?

Hi,

Is it right that you got the error message at the time you tried to register the 24 pcs?

Have you checked the transactions that have been made for the item?

How many are still on stock and how many have already been issued/sold?

Hello Ludwing ,

i got the error while trying to recive the 24 .. when i open registration from update line there is no quantity to be registered

the transaction shows only a 71 item with status received and nothing else

( but the item is available in the inventory )

Hi,

Have you checked that the site, warehouse, location, etc. fit to the PO and have been correctly selected?

Another thing that is interesting to know is what AX version do you operate and for which country/region?

Yes ludwig , same site and warehouse

ax 2012 r3 v 6.3.1000.309

the status of the 24 item left is onorder ( inventtrans )

Hi,

You operate on a pretty old r3 version (cu8).

I had a look at LCS and found a couple of hotfixes that have been released with cu10 and later.

Can you take a look at LCS yourself to verify whether one of those hotfixes overcomes your issue?
