Importing data into GP Purchasing?

Is there any how to videos on how to import data into Microsoft GP Purchasing? I receive a file from a customer with about 150 invoices on it and have to manually enter each one into purchasing, my company is a little behind on the software but i know if it is something that will speed this up they would purchase it. Currently I followed an online how to and it took me to tools integrate and then table import. If this the correct location it is currently GREYED out on my screen does this mean I wouldn't have access to it?

How can I go around that? any and all information would be great. New to Microsoft GP and my company has no how to books or manuals available.

Do you know if you own Integration Manager?  That's much safer than using Table Import as it will do validation checks where Table Import will not.

Here's a couple of videos on Integration Manager:

This first is for an AP transaction, the second is for a GL transaction just to give you an idea of how it works.

    Hi,

In addition to Matt's info, you will need to check if you have eConnect installed in your system as Purchasing requires the eConnect adapter for Integration Manager.

Documentation for GP should be included in your installation disks.  Usually it is installed by default.  You can check it out in GP by clicking the ? button (upper right of the GP Homepage) then click Printable Manuals.

You can also download the Integration Manager manual using the link below:

    Enjoy integrating! :)

Regarding the documentation, it should be installed with GP, if you press the ? found in the top right of the GP client, "printable manuals" is an option, or look on your local drive for a path similar to this, you might have to change it slightly depending on your version of GP.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2013\Documentation\

Google to search for Dynamics GP printable guides should lead you to a zip that contains the same info.
