Add popup dialog/window

I want to have a popup when user clicks on delete opportunity. That popup will have 3 options to choose from and user need to choose one of them before delete is confirmed. Initially we had dialog in dynamics but now it deprecated and creating a canvas app for this seems too much. Can anyone suggest any workaround to achieve this.

One way of achieving this is via Smartbutton  in ribbonworkbench. Can anyone guide me how to do that?

I have the same question (0)

Thank you for Xrm.Navigation.navigateto explanation but how can I have my option listed on the popup that get captured  as well. So if someone wants to have a view that defines opportunities closed by reason 1 ,2 or 3.I will have an optionset field created with 3 options and need this on the popup created using Xrm.Navigation.navigateto example.

You can create Html/Js webresource that is described in the first url I provided and open it using Xrm.Navigation.navigateTo.

I'm afraid you will have to do development anyway. If you don't want go really in deep in development you can check Alert.JS - github.com/.../alertjs
