CRM 2013 Online - Plugin Registration tool New connection erro

Hi,

I am trying to create new connection to connect CRM 2013 online in Plugin Registration Tool from my local system. I am getting the error

"Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: 'https://disco.crm.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc?wsdl'.

System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required"

In forums got the solution that I need to add app.config with proxy details. Here is the link: http://xrmbits.com/plugin-registration-tool-error-metadata-contains-a-reference-that-cannot-be-resolved/wp-admin/install.php

But in CRM 2013 SDK, I don't have source code for the Plugin Registration Tool to add app.config based on above URL.

Kindly help me the workaround. Thanks in advance.

    Hi  MADHUCH,

First download MSCRM 2013 SDK from www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

then go to settings --> customizations --> developer resources in your crm 2013 and then see in SERVICE END POINTS (Discovery Service) and find out whether there is dev or disco in URL and then use that in your plugin registration tool.

Mostly disco used for 2013 and if you using 2011 or even upgraded form 2011 to 2013 there may be still dev.

Hope this will resolve your issue.

Deepak, I have given Discovery Service Url from the same Settings > Customizations > Developer Resources. It is disco in the url. It is something related to proxy error. Can I get the source code for the Plugin Registration tool ?

    Hi MADHUCH,

As I understand that the problem occurs on a CRM Online organization, I would recommend you to benefit from the included to your subscription Support and open a Request with CRM Technical Support at the following link - www.microsoft.com/.../contact-technical-support.aspx so that you can investigate and resolve the issue with a specialized dev engineer.

Thank you for using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community.

Please let us know if this helps.

    Hi Madhuch,

I had the same problem but in my case it depended by Proxy in our configuration network. Using a ip address out of proxy control all it works fine.

Let me know in this case.

    Bye
