Why do the BBF lines repeat when printing a Multicurrency Smartlist?

Whenever we print a multicurrency smartlist from GP, if there is more than one currency in the account, the BBF lines are duplicated in the results. The underlying data in SQL is correct - I can query the tables in SQL server and get the correct data, but whenever a general user tries to create a similar query using smartlist, they get duplicate BBF lines. Any suggestions? Thanks!
