MS Dynamic CRM , Active Contacts Page Edit is possible ?

Hi All,

Is it possible to edit the Active Contacts page? . Actually i wants to add some functionality in Active Contacts page. for that i want to add some Java script code while loading the Active contacts page.

Is there any way? otherwise give some alternative ideas...

    You can edit the Active Contacts View and add/change/remove fields that are displayed in the grid of resulting records but you aren't able to to directly incorporate JavaScript when the view is loaded.

    What are you looking to accomplish?

    I want to add  images like profile pics for each contact, by adding one column in the Active Contacts Page.

    How to retrieve the pics list there?

    You won't be able to modify the out of the box grid to display images like you are looking to do in a supported manner. You would be better off creating a custom HTML/JavaScript page as a web resource that you can embed in your form and use that to display the contact data along with the images.

    Ok that is a good way but, Is it possible to embed a custom HTML page in the Active Contacts page?

    Not exactly - you could create a link in the site map in the left navigation to open your custom page in the main part of the screen (much like the OOB record grids) but strictly speaking it won't work quite the same way as being able to select a view from the list like Active Contacts.
