Hi Everyone,
I need assistant on the following message while trying to lunch Microsoft Dynamics Client Navision 2017
The client could not establish a connection to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server.
Reason = "Configuration setting 'DnsIdentity' has an invalid value"
Description = "Identity check failed for outgoing message. The expected DNS identity of the remote endpoint was 'DisuERP.cloudapp.net'. If this is a legitimate remote endpoint, you can fix the problem by explicitly specifying DNS identity 'DisuERP.cloudapp.net' as the identity property of EndpointAddress when creating channel proxy."
Will appreciate your support.
Thank you
Disu Ridwan
The DNSIdentity usually is needit when you use certificates
please check
msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd301077(v=nav.90).aspx
and try to find your scenario
@sulav Raj Thapaliya Thanks for your kind response. Can i get more detail note on how to upgrade Microsoft dynamics NAV from 2015 to 2017 on azure cloud.
Will appreciate your support
Thank you
If you have used the credential type as "NavUserPassword" for login then you have to give the DNSIdentity value name in the ClientUserSettings.config file which can be located under C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\100
